The Archers kindly booked dinner for us all at the lovely little 10 Cases restaurant in Covent Garden. They only ever buy 10 cases of the wines which are on the list and you’ll see them written up on the wall. Once they’ve been drunk then the name gets crossed off on the wall and it’s onto the next option.
The food menu is again very simple and written across the walls at the top (remember to bring your glasses!) Lawrence and I shared the crispy spicy squid which was gorgeous. We also went for the crab which unfortunately Lawrence had dived into before I could get a picture.
The mains were where it really stood out though and the first thing that jumped out was the Cote De Boeuf for two with chips and salad.
We were presented with a huge plate of lovely red meat and a simple salad drizzled with parmesan and balsamic vinegar.
As if we weren’t full enough we shared a cheese plate across the table which was lovely, there was a really stinky soft cheese which was heaven but completely forgot the name, I know it said 30years aged! Lawrence also went for the Chocolate mouse to share with a raspberry coulis and topped with pistachio. This was lovely, smooth and the raspberry was hidden throughout, as you can see it was also massive!
Yet another wonderful meal with The Archers and the restaurant was a hidden gem in the heart of Covent Garden.
