Having settled into our new flat it was time to start exploring the neighbourhood and of course the restaurants on offer. One which we jumped out at us pretty shortly after moving in was Salvation in Noodles.

Some of you may have been to their Dalston restaurant which apparently is very popular but they’ve since expanded to Finsbury Park in the Summer of 2015. We walk past it every day after work and it’s always pretty packed which is a great sign.

I’ve just discovered their website and it looks like you can book online, very convenient or alternatively just pop in and put your name and number down for later on in the evening if you’re a local.

The menu is epic, we could have chowed down the whole thing but of course that would just be too much. Instead we shared the summer rolls with pork belly, prawns and goi ga, shredded chicken with black sesame, definitely one to clear the cold with a bit of a kick.

Lawrence had one of the hot noodle soups with shrimps and pork, very tasty and incredibly filling.

I went a little left field and had the Bun Bo La Lot which was the noodle salad with beef wrapped in betel leaf. This was absolutely gorgeous and would highly recommend.

It was a lovely meal and so convenient being down the road, I have a feeling we’ll be regulars on the way home from work. If you happen to be in Finsbury Park or Dalston definitely go give SIN a try!
